MNV Foundation

MNV Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in the year 2020 under the Karnataka Societies Trust Act 1960, with the vision for the service to humanity irrespective of caste, creed, religion and language. The Organization was born as a response to the continuous floods that hit Belgaum district and the havoc caused in 2019 clubbed with Covid19. MNV Foundation reached out to the needy and the most marginalized population at that time, it was the need of the hour and we remained committed to the cause. Our team worked relentlessly to bring about a difference in the lives of children who had lost their childhood to these calamities. As MNV was approaching for support to ramp up our work, Lion’s Club of Bengaluru East came forward to support us, they made us available an excellent space to accommodate over 250 children on a pro bono basis. It was an extremely huge support at the time of crisis. Currently we lovingly care for 46 children in our home.

Who We are

MNV Foundation was started in the year 2020 with the vision for the service of humanity irrespective of caste, creed, religion and language. The Organisation was born as a response to the continuous floods that hit Belgaum district and the havoc caused in 2019 clubbed with Covid-19. Reaching out to the needy was our initial motto and we have remained committed to the same cause. Out team work relentlessly to bring a difference in the lives of children who have lost the job of childhood. Lion’s Club of Bengaluru East came forward to support us with pro bono a excellent space that can accommodate over 250 children. Currently we have 46 children in our Centre.

What We Do

MNV was born out of the passion to reach out to struggling humanity and to mould the future of the children from underprivileged communities.  We are aligned to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and we are committed to see them being achieved in our little ways. We collaborate with the State Machineries such as various Departments to reach the services.

Child Care and Quality Education

MNV’s core service remains shaping happy childhood. We reach out to most vulnerable children who are living in families with conflicts, broken, disturbed, orphans or with single parents. We prove safest haven for children with state-of-the-art facilities; stay, food, medicine and personal care. Child-friendly and safe environment is provided so that they have healthy growth. They are admitted in English medium school and provide with additional coaching to cope up. Besides academics, extracurricular activities are undertaken to shape the overall personality of children. We provide counselling and help in shaping the dream of every child. MNV believes that healthy children will grow on to become productive citizens.

Disaster Response

Given any kind of disasters be it human made or natural MNV steps up to provide timely supports. We undertake relieve and rescue operations; providing food and shelter to those have lost their belongings. We have volunteer base spread across North Karnataka to support in the immediate relief works. Our food kits are well designed to the relief setting. We keep in mind women, children, differently abled and elders while making the Relief Kits. We propagate in treating the victims with dignity. Beyond the relief we also have plans for Rehabilitation. We have reached out to over 6000 families during Covid and during floods

Scholarship Program

MNV would like to provide scholarship support for the students passing out of 10th standard. We target to cover those boys and girls who do not have parents or families with economic crisis. This will consist of financial support to cover their fees, bus passes, books and stationeries and to also mentor them to become career successful. We have a target to cover 250 college students from weaker sections of the society for the coming year.

Women Empowerment Program

MNV aims to support 100 women to begin micro-enterprises at the rural and peri-urban areas. We believe that small and micro-enterprises will sustain local economies and it can be owned by women. We plan to reach out to women form farming communities and help them pick agri-enterpises such as dairy farming, goat farming, organic vegetable cultivation etc.
